Since our second child was born we have been continually told how busy we must be.By the time we were expecting our sixth child, well you could imagine the talk. It was never encouraging, never meant to build up but a side snicker from all kinds of people. The rare person who would smile and take a minute to encourage me or us was a brave person indeed.
I try to be just that brave woman now, each time I go to the stores I look to give a smile, an encouragement to someone. Most especially to that young mother who does indeed have her hands full but is so very rich in her heart. If only she knew, if only someone would tell her.
Much of the passion behind Happy Wife And Mother is from this mindset. I so want to be a voice of encouragement, celebration and truth of what it is to be a wife, a mother, and a woman.
Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
